An interview with Dr Richard Lorber, Producer for Early Music and Opera at WDR3, the cultural radio of WestDeutsches Rundfunk. Their festival "Tage Alter Music Herne" has for years now been a focal point of early music performances in this part of Germany.
This year's festival runs from the 10th-13th November and the programme features Rumorum with Grace Newcombe, La Fonte Musica directed by Michele Pasotti, Conjunto de Música Antigua Ars Longa Havana directed by Teresa Paz, Le Concert Spirituel with Hervé Niquet, Björn Schmelzer's Graindelavoix, Ensemble 1700
with Dorothee Oberlinger directing a performance of Händel's "Lucio Cornelio Silla" as well as a performance of Gaetano Pugnani's "Werther" with the Main-Barockorchester Frankfurt under Michael Hofstetter.
